Open Futsal Soccer Play Event – July 23 between 10 am – 2 pm

On July 23, Fort Wayne FC will host a free community youth event, for children ages 8 and up, with open futsal soccer play at Packard Park. Players from the team, as well as DaMarcus Beasley, will take part in pick-up games, teaching youth how to play soccer on a futsal court. Each participant will receive a sack lunch, snacks, and a cool gift. Registration is not required and youth can stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Fort Wayne FC is also partnering with the Fort Wayne Parks Department, who will set up additional fun games with their Park & Play program.

Fort Wayne FC strives for success both on and off the field. As a semi-professional sports franchise established in Fort Wayne, the Fort Wayne FC is committed to making a difference within our local community. It is our goal to not only build an excellent team with positive role models for young people, but also to create and maintain a community program that encourages mutual respect and inclusivity while educating today’s youth and assisting those in need.
Our mission is to reach Fort Wayne’s inner-city youth who are often under-served due to lack of access to the resources or support they need. It is our intent to make a positive impact on the youth while inspiring them. Based on four key cornerstones – Health & Fitness, Mentoring, Inclusion and Equality – the Fort Wayne FC Cares Program is dedicated to using leadership and influence to make a difference in the lives of youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne.
