Saturday night will be the biggest of nights for Fort Wayne Football Club.
If the Autumn Gold & Black win at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium, they’ll qualify for the USL League One playoffs. It’s not the only way the club could qualify in its first season of professional soccer, but it is the most direct route.
Kids who bring their report cards to the Ruoff Mortgage Stadium Ticket Office will get complimentary tickets. The Ticket Office is open 12:30-5 p.m. Friday and after 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
As a thank you to the club’s fans, Fort Wayne FC merchandise will be 10% off in the Team Store. There will also be $5 draft beers from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Modelo MegaBar and Southwest and Northwest Minibars, along with other drink specials throughout the night.
It’ll be the last home match of the 2026 regular season, the club’s first at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium, and there will be a postgame Team Awards ceremony, so fan are invited to stick around after the match and help congratulate the winners.
Fort Wayne FC (12-10-9) will face Athletic Club Boise (16-8-7), which has already locked up a postseason spot. Should the match finish in either a draw or an AC Boise victory, Fort Wayne FC would need FC Naples to either lose or draw in its match Saturday against Spokane Velocity FC. That match, in Florida, will begin at 7 p.m.
This will be the second meeting between Fort Wayne FC and AC Boise, both first-year professional teams. The Autumn Gold & Black won 3-1 in Idaho on May 23 and were one of only three visiting teams to win there this season.
Fort Wayne FC lost its last match, 3-1 to the Sarasota Paradise, but it is 2-1-3 in its last six matches. AC Boise is on a three-match winning streak.
Statistically, the teams are very closely matched.
Fort Wayne FC averages 1.52 goals per match (8th in league) and 1.29 goals conceded per match (5th). AC Boise averages 1.58 goals per match (7th) and 1.32 goals conceded per match (6th).
