Fort Wayne FC unveils 2025 schedule
2-time defending Valley Division champs to play 9 matches at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium, 15 overall

The two-time defending champions of USL League Two’s Valley Division will open their season on the University of Saint Francis campus May 11 with a non-divisional friendly against Sueño FC. Fort Wayne FC will honor soccer moms during that Mother’s Day game by giving them free admission with a paid child ticket.
Fort Wayne FC will then begin its division play on the road May 17 against the Dayton Dutch Lions.
“It is always an exciting time of the year when the game schedule gets officially released,” Fort Wayne FC head coach Mike Avery said. “Knowing who and when we play allows the planning from inside the team to come into more specific focus. It also starts this imaginary clock inside my head to tick a little more loudly as we know that we are closing in on another season. Every day, we are one day closer.”
Season tickets are on sale by visiting fortwaynefc.com. Single-game tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. March 26.
After a big offseason that included a restructuring of the front-office staff, Fort Wayne FC Chief Operations Officer Scott Sproat said there’s much in store for the club’s passionate fans and those who will be checking out matches for the first time.
“We obviously have a lot of soccer balls in the air right now, figuratively speaking, and this schedule is a big step toward the reintroduction of Fort Wayne FC to our area,” Sproat said. “We’re appreciative of USL League Two, as well as our opponents, for working with us to provide the best possible schedule and fan experiences for Fort Wayne, even though we don’t plan on being that hospitable to our opponents once they’re on the pitch.”
While the front-office staff has been beefed up in anticipation of the 2026 opening of a new stadium at Bass Road and I-69, the title-winning soccer staff is intact, led by Director of Football Operations DaMarcus Beasley, Head Coach Mike Avery, Assistant Coach Keelan Barker and Goalkeeper Coach Jeff Richey.
“Fort Wayne FC is an ambitious club with ambitious players, and we are always striving to grow. We need quality opposition to help us grow and this schedule definitely offers us that.”

Fort Wayne FC’s fifth season of play will include 12 games against Valley Division opponents. There will also be three non-division friendlies, including the one against Sueño FC, at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium. Fort Wayne FC will play an international friendly June 29 and face a non-division foe July 5 or 6, with announcements of those opponents soon to come.
Fort Wayne FC will play home matches within the Valley Division on May 28 against Kings Hammer FC Columbus, May 31 against Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati, June 7 against Dayton, June 18 against Lexington SC, June 21 against West Virginia United and July 12 against Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati.
“As we finalize the roster over the next week or two, this schedule verifies what we already knew – the Valley Division will be a tough challenge and we will need to build a team capable of raising the level from seasons past,” Avery said.
“Three-peats are a very tall order in any sport, but we intend to give it our very best shot to win the Valley for the third season in a row and take a few steps further in our pursuit of winning a USL League Two National Championship.”
In addition to its May 17 game in Dayton, Fort Wayne FC will play in-division road matches May 23 against Lexington, June 4 against West Virginia, June 14 against Kings Hammer FC Cincinnati, June 25 against Kings Hammer FC Columbus and July 9 against Dayton.
Last season, Fort Wayne went 8-2-2 in the regular season, earned the first postseason victory in franchise history and reached the Central Conference Semifinals.
“Fort Wayne FC is an ambitious club with ambitious players, and we are always striving to grow. We need quality opposition to help us grow and this schedule definitely offers us that,” Avery said.
