Fort Wayne, Ind. —Fort Wayne FC announced today they will host Chivas de Guadalajara U23, for an international friendly match on Sunday, June 16th at 5 pm EST at the University of Saint Francis’ Bishop D’Arcy Stadium. This showdown marks the Liga MX U-23 team’s second visit to Fort Wayne within the past four years.
Founded in 1906, Club Deportivo Guadalajara is the most popular and beloved club in México and the US. It has won 12 Liga MX titles, 4 Copa MX trophies, 7 Champion of Champions, and 2 Concacaf Champions Cup.
“We are very excited to host Chivas de Guadalajara U23 in Fort Wayne once again,” said Fort Wayne FC co-owner and director of sports operations, DaMarcus Beasley. “This is a special game for our city, community, and our fans. We want to continue to bring high-level football to our city to challenge our players. This will be a great event and we are looking forward to a great game.”
The Father’s Day kickoff starts at 5 pm EST at Bishop John D’Arcy Stadium located on the campus of the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. The Viva Fort Wayne pre-game celebration featuring live music and tailgating activities begins at 2:30 pm EST with gates opening at 4 pm EST. The event culminates with autograph sessions including both teams. The event will be LIVE streamed with details to follow.

General admission tickets are $20/adults and $10/youth with no discounts allowed. Parking is $5.00 cash per vehicle. This friendly match is included in the 2024 season ticket membership packages.
